What will the New Year bring?

No one really knows. But New Year's Eve is time to ponder new beginnings and possibilities, as well as to reflect on the past year and all the things that happened, good or bad. For many people it's time to set ne goals and make New Year resolutions with the hope of bettering oneself. I love the feeling that I get entering the New Year. It's the feeling that anything is possible and anything can happen.

Last year for New Year's eve I was really hoping that I would get pregnant and have a baby. We just decided that we were going to try for a forth child and I was full of hope that it would happen. I remember trying to imagine what being pregnant again would be like. I tried to envision what our next child be like. Would it be a girl or a boy? Would they be born in August, or October? Would they be born naturally, or would I have complications in childbirth that would result in our child being born via c-section?

The year was a mystery on so many points. What about our job situation? We were so very broke (not that we are rich right now!0 and I was wondering if that would change. Would daddy finally find a steady job, or would we have to keep on borrowing money just to survive?

And since we celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year I was curious as to how that would go. Would Daddy and I keep on growing closer and would our marriage keep on strengthening?

Would our kids continue growing up healthy and happy. How would they react to possibility of having another sibling? Would they continue with dance and soccer? How would this year change them?

Looking back on last New Year's Eve, the possibilities that this year could bring were exhilarating. I made a New Year resolution to learn to play "Fur Elise" on piano, a resolution that never got fulfilled. It seems to be the case with me=any New Year resolutions.

I am excited to look forward to next Year and dream of what could happen. Funky Monkey will be turning 10 in the New Year, and Baby Monkey will be turning 1. I am very excited for what can happen. As to New Year resolutions, I made only one this year; I resolve to live happy, to enjoy every minute, and to be thankful for all the blessings and all the wonderful people in my life.

Happy New Year!!!!
